Description
This course offers an overview of different techniques used to process image and video. It is a practical approach focused on developing the ability to solve a complex case of image processing by combining different techniques.
Recommended knowledge
- Programming skills (C, C++)
- Basic knowledge of algebra and calculation (concepts of matrices, vector spaces, projections, plane geometry, partial derivatives, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of statistics (notion of random and mean variable, variance, correlation, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of signal theory (concept of convolution, discrete filter, frequency response, etc.)
Evaluation
Reports of each of the practices related to the topics taught.
A final project about the concepts taught in the subject.
