Seminar: Computer Networks Simulation using Opnet Modeler Simulator

Description

This Seminar presents one of the most powerful network simulation tool in the market (if not the most powerful one) to learn to simulate and evaluate the performance in different computer network scenarios, from physical to application layers.

Recommended knowledge

In this seminar, students will need some background knowledge about network technologies and applications. So, it is important to have acquired such basic knowledge before. Nevertheless, the seminar would start explaining some fundamentals if needed.

Evaluation

At the end of the seminar students will have to give the teacher their simulation results, which will serve him as academic work. Additionally, the teachers¿ observation and monitoring of the student work during the lab sessions will also contribute for the final qualification.
