We from Novia University of Applied Sciences are excited to invite you to our International Staff Week, taking place from March 25-27, 2025, with the theme Creative Teaching Methods. This year, the event will be hosted at our campuses in Vaasa and Jakobstad, located along Finland's stunning west coast. Our campuses offer a wide range of disciplines, from Engineering, Business, and Social & Welfare Studies to Culture and Arts.
Event Details:
• Dates: Tuesday, March 25 – Thursday, March 27, 2025
• Locations:
o Wolffintie 31-33, 65200 Vaasa
o Köpmansgatan 10, 68600 Jakobstad
o Transportation between campuses will be provided by us.
Why Creative Teaching Methods?
In today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape, innovative teaching approaches are crucial to engage and inspire students. This year’s theme will focus on practical tools and strategies to enhance learning experiences. Join us to explore teaching methods currently being used in disciplines such as Engineering, Business, Social & Welfare Studies, Visual Arts, Music, and Performing Arts.
We believe that the shared methods and insights can be applied across various fields, and we warmly encourage academic staff from all disciplines to participate.
