In this video we discuss how to calculate the inverse of a matrix using two methods: the Identity Matrix method and the Gauss Method (Elimination method). We start with the definition of an inverse matrix and demonstrate how to solve for it using both methods. The first method involves setting up a system of equations based on the product of matrices, while the second method uses row transformations to convert the original matrix into the identity matrix. We also discuss what happens when we encounter a matrix that does not have an inverse, which is indicated by a row of zeroes in the transformed matrix.
