Last February 28th, Andersen held at its Valencia office the Taxation of SCRs and Investment Opportunities in Alternative Vehicles’, organized in collaboration with BBVA within the framework of the activities related to the Andersen UPV Chair of Sustainability and Regulated Markets.
During the meeting, BBVA’s Private Banking team and the Firm’s expert tax lawyers discussed the new investment trends designed to take advantage of different types of growth, diversification, and risk mitigation opportunities.



The event was attended by Ximo Raga Bañon, Director of Private Banking DT East at BBVA, and José Luis Segimón de Manzanos, CFA, CAD, Head of Private Markets at BBVA Asset Management in Spain, who analyzed the new investment ideas for the next decade in alternative vehicles.
On behalf of Andersen, Andersen’s Tax Partners Vicente Sanz Torró and Borja De Gabriel Pérez-Sauquillo took part in the session, detailing the practical tax aspects of SCRs in estate planning. The conference was also attended by Ana Isabel Andre Buendia, Wealth Planner of BBVA Private Banking, and Javier Guinea Torróntegui, CFA, Head of Transformation & Alternative Investments of BBVA Private Banking.
