Session 2. Fiscal management

March 13, 2025 a 2025-03-13 - 00:11h

The second training session, entitled “Taxation of International Trade,” will continue the activities organized by the Andersen UPV Chair of Sustainability and Regulated Markets.

Customs management encompasses the set of procedures, regulations, and controls that customs applies to supervise the import and export of goods. Its objective is to ensure that commercial operations are carried out in a legal, transparent and efficient manner.

To import and export from the European Union, it is essential to have a basic understanding of foreign trade taxation and customs procedures. In addition, it is key to be aware of the latest developments regarding the imposition of tariffs by the United States, derived from the recent measures announced by Donald Trump’s administration.

In this session we will have the participation of leading experts in the field:

  • Rafael Ripoll, Of Counsel at Andersen in the Valencia office.
  • Mar Guardiola, Director of Special Taxes, Customs and Environmental.
  • Arantxa Revert Vidal, Customs Manager at Tiba.

It will be a unique opportunity to delve into these issues and understand their impact on business activity.
