UPV analyzes the future of education: technological innovation and change in the pedagogical landscape

On November 28th, a focus group session was held at Universitat Politècnica de València as part of Work Package 3: Future Learners Workshops. The event brought together secondary education professionals, including teachers, educational counsellors, and school leaders, to critically analyse the role of technology in educational environments and its various implications.

Technology assessment

The participants discussed the current use of technological tools, evaluating their implementation, effectiveness and impact on teaching practices.

Pedagogical and ethical dimension

The opportunities and ethical challenges offered by artificial intelligence (AI) were also discussed. The main objective of this study is to analyse the impact it has on the dynamics of teaching and learning.

Professional development

The importance of initiatives that enable the development of educational professionals to adapt to this new technological landscape was highlighted.

The focus group sessions served as a space to exchange diverse perspectives, fostering a collaborative environment for generating ideas to enhance the transformative development of current educational strategies. Therefore, the results of this session will also play a part in the main objective of the ENHANCE Alliance: contribute to innovation and meet the needs of future students and educational staff. Through this initiative, UPV continues to promote visionary approaches that support transformations with significant impact.
