Inside the European Study Experience: UPV students share their opinion

Have you ever wondered why it is worth studying in Europe? Our students, Samuel Fernández Pérez and María Victoria Alonso Montenegro, tell us what is the best thing about being a university student in this continent and, precisely, at Universitat Politècnica de València.

On May 9, Europe Day was celebrated, commemorating European peace and union. It recalled the Schuman Declaration, which established a new political organization in the continent so as not to conceive of wars between neighbouring countries.

As a university alliance, our purpose goes beyond offering academic opportunities to the students of the member universities; we want to achieve a genuine and fruitful exchange of knowledge and, consequently, promote cultural exchange in Europe.

The best part about studying in Europe is the facilities the cities can offer, like Valencia does, and all the commodities the student has.

What I would like to see in Europe, in a near future, is the integration of the member countries of the EU: that we all really work towards the same objective.

The best experience that Europe has given me is the ease of moving around. This
increases the exposure to different languages and cultures, which I consider infinitely enriching.
