The Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) recently held the Master’s Degree Welcoming Conference, as part of the Comprehensive Student Support Plan (PIAE+). This event plays a fundamental role in the adaptation process of new students.

On September 28th, this outstanding meeting took place, which was inaugurated by Esther Gómez, Vice Rector of Students and Entrepreneurship of the UPV. During his welcome speech, he explained to the students that they would have the opportunity to learn about all the services they could now access, thanks to being part of the university. Next, Víctor Pittaluga, student delegate, gave them a detailed explanation about the role of the delegation and how anyone interested can be part of it. Also present were Manuel Pulido, coordinator of university research institute management, Alberto Conejero, coordinator of department management, and Ana Anquela, coordinator of center management.
After the ceremony, the attendees had the opportunity to visit the different stands prepared, where they could learn about all the services offered by the university. Some students highlighted the dynamics of the event and expressed their satisfaction for having received previously unknown information, as well as the possibility of taking advantage of the opportunities that the university offers them, especially those who are new to the institution or who come from other cities or countries. Both the attendees and the organizers agreed that the experience was very positive and was a great success in terms of participation.
