Innovative actions PIAE+ 2023/2024

PIAE+ as an innovative and constantly developing project aims to respond to the needs of our students. In its eagerness to innovate and renew itself, this year it is developing four key actions for the university community of the present and the future:

Improved academic performance

PIAE+ combats dropout at the UPV with educational improvement projects (PIME), counseling for underperforming students and the use of AI for early detection and prevention, in collaboration with the Vice Rectorate for Academic Planning and Digital Transformation.

Route to Employment

From PIAE+ we have launched the “Route to Employment UPV” together with the Integrated Employment Service, to train and improve employability.

UPV Innovation

Leading the following three actions of the Work Plan: o TFM and TFG in Company o CPI Tour eXperience o Specific workshops for student delegations.

Accompanying program for high capacities

The UPV collaborates with the Valencian Association for the Support of High Abilities to support students through activities and specific training for teachers, enhancing their skills, motivation and integration, together with AVAST, the Communication Area and ICE.

PIAE+ Consolidated Projects

The UPV is the first Spanish university that has implemented an accompaniment program for all undergraduate, master’s and doctoral courses. For this reason, the team of tutors and those responsible for the PIAE+ program have carried out a series of actions, the most important of which, due to their high impact and/or recurrence, are the following:
