The Library and Scientific Documentation Service of the UPV Library, has collaborated together with EBSCO and IEEE in the realization of the on-site workshop Develop your Research Curriculum: IEEE Workshop for Authors. This is an event designed to learn key strategies in scientific publication and learn how to maximize the impact of your research. It will take place on April 2 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Caminos 1 building. (Edifici 4H).
Thanks to the open-access publishing agreement between IEEE and the Conferencia de Rectores de les Universidades Españolas (CRUE) researchers from 51 academic institutions in Spain can publish in IEEE journals at no additional cost, using prepaid APCs. This workshop will help you understand the publication process and how to take advantage of this benefit.
This in-person workshop offers practical tips for structuring scholarly articles, selecting the right journal and optimizing the impact of publications. IEEE experts will share recommendations to facilitate the publication process and increase visibility in the scientific community. It will address essential topics such as:
