The Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Edificación (ETSIE) will inaugurate its new library on Thursday, October 17. This completely renovated space is more welcoming and brighter, and is now located in the entrance hall of the School (building 1B), directly across from the Information Desk.
The new facility has been designed to enhance comfort and energy efficiency, with features that meet the current needs of users. Highlights include six group study rooms equipped with monitors and USB ports, as well as larger individual study stations with electrified desks for charging cell phones and laptops, and lights that can be turned on if additional lighting is required.
Today, Friday, October 11, the old library will close its doors for the last time, after decades of service to the students and staff of the UPV, as well as to the general public. While there is some nostalgia in leaving this space behind, we approach this change with excitement, viewing it as an opportunity to advance and improve the services we offer to all our users.
To facilitate the move to the new location, the library will remain closed from October 14 to 16.
Next Thursday come to the new library!
