International Quality Assurance in UPV Degrees

One of the main commitments of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) is quality education, a challenge in which all members of the institution are involved;

Among other benefits, a commitment to quality education means: attracting the best admission records, receiving more foreign students, offering international double degrees and achieving a better employability of its graduates.

Along these lines, the UPV has opted for the certification of a large number of its bachelor’s and master’s degrees through international quality seals, specific to each of the different professional fields taught on its three campuses.

Currently, 38 UPV degrees from 13 centers and departments are in possession of 47 international quality seals. You can consult the updated list in the following link:

Current international accreditations

EUR-ACE seal of excellence

It certifies that the studies are fully compliant with the professional requirements of engineering. This seal is awarded by the recognized agency European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), through the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).

It recognizes that the studies complement to a large extent the professional requirements in the field of informatics. The EURO-INF seal is awarded by the European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education (EQANIE).

ABET Accreditation

ABET is a non-profit association that accredits university studies in the field of applied sciences, computer science, engineering and technology. It is a guarantee that the studies in question fully meet the requirements of the respective professions.

EQAS-Food

The EQAS food quality label is awarded to bachelor’s and master’s degree programs that comply with EQAS procedures, criteria and standards. The quality of food science and technology degree programs, according to the ISEKI Food Association (IFA), is derived from a functioning qualification process, the interaction of its elements and the level of achievement of objectives.
