Perekhrestya” cultural project
Saturday, December 2, 2023
From 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
UPV Rectorate Assembly Hall (first floor of building 3A)
Subsidized performance within the University-Refuge Action Plan framework of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

We present a cultural and interdisciplinary project that seeks to integrate social, historical and ecological aspects under the umbrella of cultural tourism.
“Paseando por Valencia: encrucijadas histórico-culturales (español-ucraniano)”/ “Прогулянка Валенсією: історично-культурні перехрестя (іспанською та українською)” was the name chosen for the initiative that seeks recognition of the artistic-monumental heritage that both territories have: Spain and Ukraine.
The proposal includes the elaboration of a bilingual book (Spanish-Ukrainian) on pedestrian, bicycle, skate or electric bus routes through the city of Valencia and its surroundings. This cultural project reproduces the perspective of a Ukrainian woman, philologist and tour guide by profession, Viktoria, who describes the Valencian cultural heritage while contrasting this information with memories of Ukrainian culture.
