Objectives
Today it is well known and shared that materials play a very important role, both for the possibility of fostering innovation and for the role they play in the urgent ecological transition that this discipline is called upon to support.
The workshop aims to make attendees reflect on the possibility of consciously designing materials and thus enrich their training with skills related to the experiences with materials that arise and are intended to be created in the current context of sustainability.
Afterwards, attendees will be able to gain hands-on experience in material design by trying out the various exercises offered.
Note: participants will be asked to think ahead of time about waste materials or residues (which we will call “resources”) to focus later on the experimentation activity of the workshop.
