The UPV, through its Cultural Activities Area, presents the X Mural Painting Interventions Contest, the winners of which will participate in Poliniza 2015, the tenth edition of the UPV’s urban art festival, which will take place from 11th to 15th May 2015.
Starting from the consideration of mural painting as that painting done on an architectural support that interacts with its urban environment, all artists over the age interested in participating can do it, either individually or in groups (crews). Thus, in Poliniza 2015 there is room for everything from the most academic proposals to hip hop graffiti or urban art.
The deadline for registration and submission of applications, now open, will end on March 23rd, 2015. To participate, you must fill out the registration form, which can be downloaded from this page, and present a CD/DVD compilation of images with the main wall paintings of the interested parties at the General Registry of any of the three campuses of the UPV, next to it.
The winners, in addition to participating in a festival of international reference in the world of urban art and enjoyed every year by more than 20,000 people, will receive a prize of 600 € for the final intervention. Come on and participate!
