[PAC 2019] Scratch Day – Learn to program!

Time: from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.

The Computer Museum in collaboration with ACM UPV Chapter will take place this coming September 9th the Scratch Day.

This activity proposes to learn about and develop small projects in the educational programming environment Scratch, a learning environment that allows people with no prior programming knowledge to quickly obtain results without having to learn to write in a conventional programming language.

Scratch facilitates the creationThe environment allows for interactive stories, games and animations;combineobjects, graphics, sounds and sequences of commands and shareThe environment is used to share one’s own creations with other people online. This environment has been developed since 2007 at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) by a team led by Mitchel Resnick and is currently used by several million people worldwide.

Scratch Day will be held on Monday, September 9 at the laboratories Alan Turing and Ada Byronlocated in building 1G of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática – ETSINF, allowing you to choose between two possible shifts. A first shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and a second shift from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
