[2019-20] A.N.C.A. A collective creation experience 1989-1994.

Inauguration: Wednesday, October 16th at 6:30 p.m.in the exhibition hall of the UPV rectorate and in collaboration with the Cañada Blanch Foundation.

Regarding the collective exhibition, the artists say: “Here we are again, ready to conclude our five-year traffic, to the burial of a death foretold that time, always unbribable, has taken care of postponing in saecula saeculorumfor almost twenty-five years. There is no dignified death without a high funeral -as the poet wrote-, and this is the reason why we want to share it with you, to invite you to celebrate our assumption to the paradise of eternal peace, the home where the ships of those who believed in life are stranded artists.

Rest in peace, rest in peace, stand, piu, pou and puu.

During the inauguration on Wednesday 16th at 18.30, there will be several actions:

  • Action 3: Bread and newspaper.Author: Rafael *Santibáñez. Duration 7′.
  • Action 4: Identity. Authors: Lucía Peiró and Inma Gregori. Duration 8′.
  • Action 5: Think-mind.Author: José Tarragó. Duration 10′.
  • Action 6: Inventory and Acert-hijo. Author: Andrés Llopis. Duration 7′.
  • Action 7: Happy Days.Author: María Ordóñez. Duration 15′.
  • Action 8: Harassment. Authors: Nuria Lloret (script); Jorge Sastre (music); Stefano Scarani (audiovisual). Duration 7′.
  • Action 9: Sound sculpture.Author: Rafael Santibáñez. Duration 7′.
  • Action 10: 10 seconds of concert. Author: Bartolomé Ferrando. Duration 4′.

Parallel to the exhibition there will be a round table and 2 actions the Monday, October 21, 19:00h, at the Auditori Alfons Roig de la Facultat de Belles Art: “La creación colectiva”, with the participation of:

  • Roman de la Calle, Professor of Aesthetics at the University of Valencia.
  • Gema Hoyas, professor of the Department of Sculpture of the UPV.
  • Martina Botella, professor of the Sculpture Department of the UPV.
  • Bertomeu Ferrando, professor of the Department of Sculpture of the UPV and member of ANCA.

And moderator: Lucía Peiró, artist, graduate in Fine Arts and member of ANCA.
