Exhibition: “ArtFutura 30”.

From March 1st to April 3rd, 2023 Espai n-1, ground floor of the General Library (building 4L)

ArtFutura 30 is an exhibition journey through the thirty editions of the ArtFutura festival of digital culture and creativity which, since 1990 and to date, has consolidated itself as a reference point in the international panorama of digital art, interaction design, 3D animation, virtual reality and new media.

ArtFutura’s screenings, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, interactive installations and performances have reached more than twenty cities including Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Ibiza, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Montevideo, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, Rome and Saint Brieuc among others. Prestigious media such as the New York Times, The Huffington Post, La Stampa, El País, La Vanguardia, the International Herald Tribune, etc., have echoed their activities.

ArtFutura 30 also presents a version of the festival itself in virtual reality, created by Teresa Tomás and David Clemente Pérez López, with which the public will be able to interact. The exhibition will also show the first drawings made with a computer by the artist Jean Giraud (Moebius), the result of excellent digital art restoration work carried out by UPV lecturers Jorge González Molla (ETSINF Computer Museum) and Paco de la Torre (Faculty of Fine Arts).
