Agroversitat

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the next Agroversitat seminar that will take place at L’Alter de Vorasenda (Carpesa).  It is a hybrid space designed to carry out both agricultural and cultural activities.  In recent years, a food forest has been created here, which is also a place of enjoyment and a place for learning.

With the support of La Requincallerie and Cadascú, we are building there a dry toilet using recovered wood, previously prepared in the workshop of the Faculty of Fine Arts. The construction will be completed collectively in the first seminar open to the public to be held on 20 May 2023 at 10.00 am in Carpesa.

The dry toilet is a very efficient way to contribute to the fertility of the soil through composting without the need to contaminate the water with human waste. In this sense, we consider it to be a powerful symbol that points to another way of organizing our daily activities in order to collaborate in the regeneration of our environment by offering inspiring alternatives.

On that day we will reflect on all this, so we will have the good fortune to have a round table where we can exchange ideas on soil management and protection of the garden. Neus Sant Joan, researcher at the UPV, Lola Raigón, director of the Càtedra d’Agroecologia José Luis Porcuna and Carles Pons, farmer at BosqueMadre will participate. Moderator: Gloria Bigné (Terra Ciutadana Chair).

Language: Spanish
