The Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia will host the project in April 2025.Queer Movements: Performing Laboratory of Cuirs Actionsa proposal by La Errería (House of Bent) that seeks to investigate the body and identity through performance.
The program will be developed in two independent workshops. The first, entitled“The Queer and Outsider Body.”will be atheoretical workshop directed by ProfessorÁlvaro Terrones (UPV) and the artist and performerGraham Bell Tornadoco-director of La Erreria (House of Bent). It will be held on April 3 in the A26 Classroom of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV, from 18 to 21 hours. This activity is free and open to all interested persons, without prior registration.
The hands-on workshop will take place onApril 10 in the Alfons Roig Auditorium of the same faculty, from 10 am to 2 pm. Directed by La Erreria (House of Bent) and the director of theaterJacob Julius RogerThis workshop proposes an experiential exploration of body expression and behavioral codes from a queer perspective. This performative research laboratory seeks to challenge the normative structures imposed on bodies and generate new expressive languages that question the binary constructions of gender and behavior.
