Orientation
Orienteering is a sport originating in Scandinavia in which each participant performs an individual or collective timed race with the help of a map. This map is specific to this sport in which are marked certain controls that must pass through which are secret and are not known to the runner before starting the race. Generally, there are different routes in the same event. In addition to this, each runner can take his own route to transit between the checkpoints using different navigation methods. Runners often use a compass to help them navigate the different terrains.
