Rugby
The Rugby Club of the Polytechnic University of Valencia began its journey as such in 1982, starting to compete in federated league in the 1983-1984 season and having been declared at the time by the Rector Justo Nieto Sports image of the UPV, carrying the name and image of the UPV wherever it went until 2014, when the university ceased to have its own federated sports disciplines.
During this impasse and until 2021 the people who enjoyed this sport continued as an external entity to the UPV, changing its name to Estudiantes Rugby Club, not leaving the university at any time until it was integrated again in the UPV as a Rugby club. Thus, the UPV Rugby Club returns in 2021.
