Iñigo López Mulet, Spanish University Chess Champion
The International Master, Iñigo López Mulet, wins the gold in the modality of rapid games in the championship that took place on April 22, 23 and 24 in Zaragoza.
The UPV is proclaimed champion of the Spanish University Chess Championship after the university team obtained the maximum sum of points of its 6 participants.
Spanish University Archery Champions
Gold for the UPV in the Spanish University Archery Championship held in Huelva last week. 10 archers representatives in the modalities of recurve and compound arch qualify UPV as Spanish University Champion for the sum. In the individual classification of compound bow, the archer Laura Warmuz, student of the ETSIADI is proclaimed runner-up of Spain and the archer Emilio Lucha of the ETSINF rises with the third position in the modality of recurve.
The UPV University Fencing runner-up in the Spanish University Fencing
The UPV was proclaimed runner-up in the Spanish University Fencing Team Championship held in Cuenca last weekend. The University competed with a team of 16 fencers in sabre, foil and epee, obtaining in addition the third individual position the fencers Encarnación Celis Monleón in sabre and Mariana García Martínez in foil.
