UPV has a cheerleading team!
We are White Lynx and we are pleased to introduce ourselves as the University’s sports team.
Cheerleading is a team sport in which, involving coordination, agility and strength, acrobatics, dance and lifting are mixed. But don’t let this scare you, to join our team you don’t need previous experience, anyone who is motivated and eager to learn and have fun is welcome.
We are proud to say that we are a very familiar, respectful and tolerant team where our priority is that all members feel comfortable, both in and out of training, because without a good atmosphere it would be impossible to grow as a team.
And growth has been and continues to be our goal since last year, when the entire team was completely renewed.
Since then, we have performed at the awards ceremony of the UPV 2022 trophy, cheered at the first ever chair soccer trophy at the North Station in September of this year and entertained at a bachelorette party.
Now, all our concentration is focused on the WIUC (World Inter Universities Championships) competition in Barcelona next November.
