We are looking for students interested in participating in the CERN IDEASQUARE SUMMER SCHOOL 2025. The dynamics will be working in multidisciplinary teams, through the development of the Design Thinking methodology: a continuous process of rethinking, ideation and human-centered testing.
The course will be entirely in English, and will consist of an on-line phase, and a face-to-face phase at the University of Delf (The Netherlands) and CERN in Geneva (Switzerland). All sessions are mandatory. The development will be as follows:
- 5 online sessions: May 22, 28, June 5, 12 and 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
- 3 face-to-face days at Delft University: July 7-9
- 6-8 days at CERN (Geneva): July 18-26.
The estimated cost of the course is €1,300. Those selected from among the candidates will be eligible for partial financing of the activity, which will cover approximately 60%.
Students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Creative Technologies, and Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering may participate.
