The verification of a degree is the process that the university has to follow to apply to the Ministry of Education for a new degree or a substantial modification of an existing one.
Substantial modification of an official bachelor’s or master’s degree is understood as those changes that improve the degree and do not affect the objectives or nature of the degree. Substantial modifications are considered substantial when they include changes in the number of places, structure of the study plan, teaching modality, incorporation of training complements, or training objectives or results. In addition, they may also be considered substantial in some cases in accordance with the protocol of the quality agency.
This protocol regulates the UPV internal procedures.
