UPV 2023 Environmental Statement

The UPV 2023 Environmental Statement was approved at the Governing Council meeting held on March 7, 2024 and validated by the external verifier on April 17, 2024. It is the first one to be prepared under the new Strategic Plan 2023/2027 called SIRVE Plan.

Reflects a year marked by the take-off of the Carbon Footprint as an indicator of the UPV’s decarbonization process.

UPV 2022 Environmental Statement

The UPV 2022 Environmental Statement was approved by the Governing Council held on March 9, 2023 and validated by the external verifier on May 7, 2023. It is the last one to be prepared during the period of validity of the 2015/2020 Strategic Plan, which has had to be extended until 2022.

It reflects a year marked by an increase in teaching and research activity, the consolidation of teleworking and the start of photovoltaic solar energy installation projects.

UPV Environmental Statement 2021

The UPV 2021 Environmental Statement was validated by the verifier on March 28, 2022 and approved by the UPV Governing Council at the meeting held on May 16, 2022. The Declaration is prepared during the period of validity of the Strategic Plan 2015/2020 which has had to be extended until 2022.

Throughout the year, intense work has been done on the systematization of green public procurement and contracting, especially in minimizing food waste in the catering services contracted by the university.

UPV 2020 Environmental Statement

The UPV 2020 Environmental Statement was validated by the verifier on March 23, 2021 and approved by the UPV Governing Council at the meeting held on April 22, 2021.

The Statement is prepared during the period of the Strategic Plan 2015/2020 and reflects the behavior of an organization affected by the health emergency situation.

UPV Environmental Statement 2019

The UPV Environmental Statement 2019 was validated by the verifier on April 7, 2020 and approved by the UPV Governing Council at the meeting held on May 28, 2020.

The Declaration is prepared during the period of validity of the Strategic Plan 2015/2020 and gives continuity to the study initiated in 2018 for the implementation of renewable energies in the UPV and the design of improvements in the outdoor areas of the campuses.
