The Control 1 laboratory is equipped with 12 workstations for process control practices using simple prototypes. Each workstation consists of a computer equipped with a data acquisition system, power supply, oscilloscope and signal generator. In this laboratory, simulation practices, identification and modeling of processes and systems, programming and implementation of basic controllers (PID) and advanced controllers (state space, predictive control, fuzzy control, etc.) are carried out. This laboratory mainly deals with temperature control problems (oven and peltier cell prototypes), velocity and position control problems (DC motor prototype). The computers are equipped with SW (MATLAB, LabVIEW, Visual C++) for programming the control systems.
The laboratory is located on the second floor of the 5D building (DISA – ETSII).
