The meeting was attended by Fermín Serrano, from the Ibercivis Foundation, an expert in the field of Citizen Science, who gave a lecture entitled “Citizen Science, a vision of the future”, followed by a round table discussion on the opportunities that citizen science offers to early stage researchers.

In addition to Fermín Serrano, the round table was attended by Salomé Cuesta, Vice Rector of Art, Science, Technology and Society at UPV, Sandra Lucía Hernández, Professor at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México and UPV PhD student, Ana Belén Anquela, Director of Sandra Lucía Hernández’s thesis and UPV University Ombudswoman, and as moderator, Belén Picó, Vice Rector of Research.

We are especially grateful for the participation in the event of the Henry Ford, Consum, Torrescámara, NTT DATA and ROCHE Business Chairs, and to their respective Directors for their collaboration as jurors for the selection of the best posters and the best oral presentation.
