Students admitted with Complementary Training

When the Academic Committee of a doctoral program admits a student who has a lack of training in a specific field in relation to the development of the thesis, the student must complete a number of credits of graduate courses (set of Master’s courses) assigned by the CAPD.

Students admitted to a UPV doctoral program with Complementary Training must complete these complements, at the most, in two full semesters from the date of enrollment. That is, students enrolled until September 30 must complete the complements between the first and second semester of the same academic year. Students enrolled between October 1 and February 15 must pass the complements between the second semester of the same academic year and the first semester of the following academic year.

The credits of postgraduate courses (Master’s degree courses as a whole) have an additional cost that is specified in the tuition fees established for each academic year.
