Futuro’ awards to the best 4th year ESO students

The Campus of Alcoy of the UPV presents the IV ‘Future’ Awards to the best 4th year ESO students.

The Alcoy Campus of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has awarded the best 4th year of ESO Science students of this past academic year 2022-2023. This is the fourth edition of these ‘FUTURO’ Awards, which are now fully consolidated.

At the ceremony, held in the Ferrándiz y Carbonell square, 20 students from Bocairent, Villena, Mutxamel and Alcoy received the ‘FUTURO’ Awards. The winners were accompanied by family, friends, directors of their respective schools and staff of the educational communities. The winners received a diploma, a technological detail and merchandising of the Alcoy Campus.

The ‘FUTURO’ Awards were created with the intention of recognizing the efforts of students. The campus also wanted to pay a well-deserved tribute to the work of teachers and their families.

The event was very emotional as the students received the awards from the director of the Alcoy Campus of the UPV, Pau Bernabeu. On behalf of the Alcoy City Council, the Mayor of Alcoy, Antonio Francés, the Councilor for Education and Sports, Alberto Belda, various members of the municipal corporation and the management team of the campus attended the event. The event was presented by José Mengual, from the campus Communications Department.

Pau Bernabeu, director of the Alcoy Campus of the UPV, recalled the success story of the Industrial School of Alcoy and encouraged the award winners to continue with the excellent results.
