To ensure that all students have the opportunity to pursue university studies, the Ministry of Education, the Conselleria, and the Universitat Politècnica de València offer various scholarships and grants

Ministry of Education and Vocational Training

The Ministry announces scholarships for students who will study at Spanish universities:

The Ministry announces scholarships for students planning to study at Spanish universities. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the economic thresholds set out in the call for proposals. The application process is conducted electronically through the Ministry’s website.

Applicants can complete the electronic submission process by using any of the accepted identification systems available through the electronic office. Once the process is completed, the necessary documentation must be attached.


In case of any issues, the following documents should be printed and submitted, along with the required documentation, at the time of registration at the educational center where the studies will take place.

Regional Ministry for Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society

The Conselleria announces scholarships for university studies at universities within the Comunitat Valenciana. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must provide proof of administrative residence in the Comunitat Valenciana and meet the income thresholds established in the call for applications.

The scholarship covers the exemption from paying fees for university academic services, specifically registration costs.

Applications, along with the required documentation, must be submitted electronically via the Conselleria’s web application. A digital certificate is required for submission.

Universitat Politècnica de València

The UPV offers several scholarships and grants, with the application and awarding process outlined in each specific call for applications.

Social Action Grants

These include meal vouchers, which allow students to eat at UPV cafeterias. Applications can be submitted through the student intranet.

Technical Aids for Students with Disabilities (CEDAT Foundation)

In collaboration with the CEDAT Foundation, these aids are designed to provide students with disabilities the necessary technical support for studying, transportation, and communication. The goal is to ensure equal access to university education and facilitate the successful completion of their studies. The application form is included in the specific call for these aids.

Type B Collaboration Scholarships

These scholarships aim to enhance the education of Universitat Politècnica de València students by engaging them in practical work related to R&D&I projects and activities. They are open to undergraduate students in their final two years of study, as well as master’s program students.

Calls for applications are published throughout the school year and outline the scholarship’s objectives, requirements, financial support, time commitment, assigned tutor, and other details.

Development Cooperation Scholarships

These scholarships enable students to undertake internships at other universities. The program also includes participation in international universities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international organizations, and other entities with social objectives within the scope of the students’ academic studies (Meridies Cooperation and Development Cooperation Program).

Other Scholarships

  • Type A Collaboration Scholarships: These scholarships aim to enhance the education of recipients through activities closely related to their academic studies. In return for financial compensation, scholarship holders carry out tasks within a department, center, institute, or service. Calls for applications are published throughout the academic year, detailing the objectives, required activities, evaluation criteria, weekly time commitment, and more.
  • Aid for Sporting Excellence and Elite University Athletes: These grants are designed to encourage and support elite university athletes and the practice of sports at the UPV. Application forms are provided in the respective calls for applications..
  • Academic Exchange Scholarships: These scholarships allow students to undertake study stays at other universities in Spain or abroad, within the framework of their academic programs (e.g., Erasmus and Promoe).
