The award is aimed at initiatives developed and applied in Spain by professionals, companies or organizations, and seeks to highlight the role of the application of engineering in the search for solutions that, based on criteria of innovation, resource optimization and sustainability, result in an improvement in the safety and welfare conditions of particularly disadvantaged people or those at risk of social exclusion.
For this purpose, the initiative promoted by graduates in engineering and industrial technical engineers, or by companies or organizations in which they participate, which in the application of engineering and in an altruistic way, result in the improvement of the safety and welfare conditions of these people, will be valued.
