Cahrla, Experiences in Physics Education: NASA and more

On Thursday, June 6, from 12:30 to 13:30 hours, in the classroom N33 of ETSIADI, we will have the guest lecture of Prof. Rod Milbrandt, from Rochester Community and Technical College in the United States and currently NASA Ambassador.

In this talk I’ll discuss areas I’ve worked on in physics education, including Project Based Learning, Demonstrations, and the NASA HEAT (Heliophysics Education Activation Team) project which has created activities with data and images for use in classroom teaching.

Rod Milbrandt teaches physics and engineering at Rochester Community and Technical College in Minnesota, USA. He has been active in the American Association of Physics Teachers and previously spent a year at the Department of Physics Education of Charles University, Prague, Czechia.

We count on your assistance!
