Following the UPV’s communiqué on the academic activity from November 25, the ETSIADI communicates the measures that will be adopted based on the new guidelines of the UPV.
PROGRESSIVE TRANSITION TO HYBRID TEACHING
From November 25 the TA, PA and PI classes will start to be taught progressively in the assigned classrooms and spaces, starting on Monday November 25, 2nd grade and 2nd master’s degree from December 2 and the rest of the courses from December 9. These classes will have to be transmitted by Teams even if they are given from the assigned classroom/spaces and must continue to be recorded.
As for the PL experimental laboratory practices, these can be taught from November 25 in person for students of all courses of the ETSIADI. The necessary adaptations will be made so that students who are unable to travel to the campus can perform the practice online or through an alternative procedure.
In both cases, only students who can travel by means that do not affect road traffic, i.e., on foot, bicycle or scooter, are allowed to attend.
TEACHING
Regarding the teaching staff, regardless of the course, they will be able to travel to the campus and continue teaching online classes using the resources of the assigned classroom, so the timetable for occupying the spaces is maintained in all cases.
Faculty directly affected by the DANA who cannot travel to the UPV will be able to continue teaching online.
In these cases, students with permitted access to the campus may come to the school to follow the class online from their assigned classroom.
STUDENT EVALUATION
The UPV has decreed that the evaluation tests may be resumed as of November 28, 2024. This forces the School to re-evaluate the changes in the dates of exams planned for the situation in force until now, which may lead to rectifications and return to dates initially discarded. In future communications the School will announce how this new reordering of exams will be done, as well as how students affected by the DANA will be able to request a postponement of these exams, if they consider it necessary.
Best regards,
