“Akademia” is a program coordinated between the CPI and the Bankinter Innovation Foundation (FIB), which aims to teach students (final year undergraduate, master’s or doctoral students) to identify and analyze trends in innovation, with artificial intelligence as the main topic. The program consists of different thematic sessions and the resolution of a practical case. It is developed online, as other Spanish universities also participate. No previous knowledge of artificial intelligence is required. The course has no cost for the students and is recognized with 1.33 credits. Every year we receive very good feedback from the students and I have more and more students who know students from other editions. To enrich the program, at UPV level we do several face-to-face sessions, this year we plan to visit the company Jeanologia and a couple of research institutes of the ICC. Also as a novelty this year, the case study will be a challenge proposed by a company, and the winning groups will have the opportunity to present their result to the company, in Madrid.”
