ETSIADI Exhibition Hall
PROTOCOL FOR THE USE OF EXHIBITION MATERIALS
The exhibition spaces of the ETSIADI are available to the collective that is part of the School. Likewise, the ETSIADI Exhibition Hall is part of the UPV Exhibition Spaces Network, which means that the hall can be accessible to the entire university community. The application and use of the exhibition spaces of the ETSIADI,with the acceptance of the Legal Noticewhich can be found at the end of the following usage protocol.
In order to make good use of the space and to preserve it as well as possible, a code of good practices has been created and is specified below:
- In the first instance, the exhibits will be requested through the EXHIBITION SPACE RESERVATION FORM to email: direccion@etsiadi.upv.es. Reservation dates will include the exhibition set-up and dismantling periods.
- Once the exhibition dates have been accepted, you will be asked to complete and send the DISPLAY ELEMENTS FORM together with all the material indicated on the form. Also to the following e-mail address direccion@etsiadi.upv.es.
- The assembly and disassembly of the exhibition is in charge of the exhibition organizers and will be supervised by ETSIADI staff in order to preserve the material and facilities.
- Fixing to the surfaces of the room will be done by hanging the material with fishing line andnever with adhesives*..
- The exhibition furniture must always be moved and handled with gloves and protective elements to avoid damage and dirt.
Any damage resulting from the use of the exhibition material must be communicated to the center so that possible solutions can be agreed upon with the person in charge of the exhibition.
*ETSIADI will provide the curators with the necessary material to hang the featherboard panels: fishing line and metal hangers to be embedded in the back of the featherboard.
Legal Notice for the use of exhibition spaces at ETSIADI
The applicant for the use of ETSIADI exhibition spaces, fully assumes all responsibilities related to the image rights and intellectual property of the material provided for such use.
You understand and agree that it is your duty to ensure that all content you request to display, including but not limited to text, images, graphics and any other material, complies with applicable intellectual property laws and that you possess the necessary rights to display it.
In the event of any claim or legal action arising in connection with the material provided, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ETSIADI, its affiliates, representatives and employees, from any damage, loss or expense incurred as a result of the request for publication.
Furthermore, the applicant grants consent for photographs or videos to be taken of the material exhibited during the exhibition. Furthermore, he/she irrevocably assigns to ETSIADI all rights to use such photographs or videos for any purpose related to future publications or as part of the center’s publicity material. You also acknowledge that this assignment is made without any expectation of compensation and that ETSIADI is under no obligation to use the photographs or videos taken.
