The Spontaneous Generation program is a launch pad for initiatives that come entirely from the university’s students. It maximizes the much-acclaimed transversal competencies and the figure of the student-mentor.

FSUPV Team
The FSUPV Team is a project formed by students whose objective is to manufacture, build and compete with a formula car in the various Formula Student competitions around the world.
Faraday Rocketry UPV
Faraday Rocketry UPV is a group focused on the design, development and construction of sounding rockets, with a range capacity of up to 3000 meters.
Xtra2 UPV
The Xtra2 UPV is a team made up of more than 60 students from up to 10 disciplines that participate in the development of innovative prototypes, with technical progress and teamwork as the basis for the evolution of the project.
Hyperloop UPV
Hyperloop UPV is a multidisciplinary team that seeks to develop the transport of the future, through the international competition organized by SpaceX and The Boring Company, owned by Elon Musk;
Horus UPV
Horus UPV, a project initiated in 2018, seeks to create and operate an adaptable UAV for the IMechE’s UAS Challenge, with an estimated MTOW between 7 and 10 kg. It will also serve as a research platform to integrate hydrogen batteries, increasing its autonomy and reducing its environmental footprint.
Aero Design UPV
Aero Design UPV is a multidisciplinary team whose mission is the development of bio-inspired sensorized aircraft for the protection of ecosystems. Through the generative design technique we lighten the amount of material used in our prototypes, reducing the net carbon footprint during the lifetime of the aircraft.
Aeolian UPV
The EOLIA UPV team’s mission is to design and manufacture a small-scale wind turbine that will be presented at the ISWTC (International Small Wind Turbine Contest) of the Hanze UAS.
EUROAVIA
We are one of the largest branches of EUROAVIA, the European association of university students linked to the field of aviation and space, whose objective is to complement the training of its members and to serve as a link between the university and the industry.
Makers UPV
Makers UPV is a community of students who are not satisfied with the career, who seek to learn from practice and make their own projects. From Makers UPV we offer, the first months of each quarter, a series of totally practical training workshops.
Pluto UPV
Plutón UPV is a multidisciplinary project of students from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) whose objective is the design, assembly, validation and testing of a nanosatellite or CubeSat.
Pluton UPV is developing Estigia, a 2U-sized CubeSat designed to fly in low Earth orbit (LEO);
Mysis
The main objective of the Mysis group is the construction of an underwater vehicle.
They want to collaborate in the fight against pollution of the seas and oceans by plastics, especially micro-plastics that end up being the main cause of ocean pollution.
