Good morning, thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself. I’m Daniel Gil, a student at ETSEAMN who throughout my time at the university has had the good fortune to be involved in several exciting projects that enrich my academic experience.
An outstanding project in which I am involved isFornejant Ciènciaa team of Spontaneous Generation, where we work in a more practical way on food innovation. This project has enabled me and continues to enable me toto apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in all courses and to work closely with a talented team of students and professors.
In addition, I consider myself an honest and persevering person. which I believe are fundamental values in all interactions and help foster trust and collaboration. They also push you to overcome obstacles and constantly look for opportunities for growth and improvement.
My passion for learning is what really drives me to keep looking for new opportunities to acquire knowledge and develop both personally and professionally.
My passion for learning is what really drives me to keep looking for new opportunities to acquire knowledge and develop both personally and professionally.I am always looking for challenges that will allow me to broaden my horizons and continue learning in my field of study.
- Personally, why did you decide to study the double degree of ADE and CTA?
In my case, the choice to study the double degree of ADE and CTA is based on a combination of personal interests and professional considerations. I have always been fascinated by the medical field, but due to my PAU scores, I was not able to enter a career in medicine as I would have initially liked to.
During my degree selection process, I took into account several factors, including my preference to study at UPV, a highly recognized university. In addition, I have always been curious and attracted to the field of food and its importance in our society.
The opportunity toStudying Food Science and Technology seemed like an excellent way to combine my interest in the food industry with my desire for a quality education.
I considered complementing this training with ADE since it offered a unique combination of disciplines that would provide me with a solid foundation in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, management and entrepreneurship, combined with a deep knowledge in food science. I am cith this multidisciplinary combination, I am aware that it will give me a comprehensive understanding of the business world, especially in the food sector, which plays a crucial role in Spain and around the world.
As of today,if given the opportunity to switch to any career, I would still choose the double degree of ADE and CTA.

- Currently, what is your biggest challenge at a personal level?
My biggest challenge on a personal level, at the moment, is to find an equilibrium between my double degree studies and the multiple initiatives in which I am involved. I am currently studying in a demanding academic program and at the same time I am actively participating as a coordinator inFornejant Ciènciasecretary in theStudent Delegation of the Faculty of Business Administration and ManagementWe have also been involved in the formation of several startups, work and volunteer experiences.
This situationinvolves a fairly high level of daily stressI have to manage my time efficiently and stay focused on my academic and extracurricular responsibilities. The biggest challenge is to stay organized, set clear priorities and make the most of every moment.
“There are three things that don’t go back, a bullet fired, a word spoken and a missed opportunity.”
However, I see this personal challenge as an opportunity to develop time management skills, work under pressure and adaptability. Although it is demanding, I am committed and motivated to overcome this challenge and achieve a satisfactory balance between my academic and extracurricular activities.
- Going into a more personal and relaxed side, do you have a motto or phrase?to serve as inspiration?
A phrase that inspires me is: “There are three things that don’t go back, a bullet fired, a word spoken and a missed opportunity.”. It motivates me tovalue and make the most of the opportunities that arise in life.
- Will Elon Musk kill Twitter or will the opposite happen?
Without being an expert in that field, I would say that Twitter’s future does not depend solely on Elon Musk, there are many factors and loyal users that contribute to its success and continuity.
It is difficult to pto predict with certainty how the platform will develop in the future. It will be interesting to see how Musk’s ideas and vision combine with Twitter’s existing structure and how this will affect users and the future of the platform.
Pizza always without pineapple: it doesn’t go well with something so sweet”.
- If Twitter disappears, will you switch to Mastodon?
If Twitter were to disappear in the future, I would consider exploring other social networking options, such as Mastodon.I would be open to explore different alternatives and evaluate the available options.
- Pizza, with or without pineapple?
Personally, I always prefer pizza without pineapple. To my taste, something as sweet as pineapple does not go well with the other traditional salty ingredients of pizza.
- In winter, socks to sleep in?
In winter I always wear socks to sleep in, I like the feeling of having my feet covered and the warmth it keeps my feet warm at night. MIt helps me to relax and fall asleep more easily.
- Vacations, sea or mountain?
I have no clear preference between choosing the beach or the mountains. I like the tranquility and serenity that the beach offers, while at the same time I enjoy the adventure and natural beauty of the mountains. However, what makes me choose one destination or another for my vacations are the risky sports that offer me an exciting and stimulating sensation.coupled with the opportunity to escape from the daily routine and experience something new.
- Finally, coffee, black or with milk?
Well, honestly, I don’t drink coffee. SI am one of the few people who do not like to drink coffee because of its taste.
