Last Thursday, May 9, a representation of faculty, administrative and service staff and students attended the dinner organized for the celebration of the day of the center, which for several years has been dedicated to the figure of Ada Byron.
In this event the management team shares a dinner with members of the center, both PDI and PAS and student representation, the awards for excellence are awarded and we say goodbye to our retirees. More than 80 people attended the meeting in this edition, which was held at the restaurant La Ferradura, in Alboraya.
The ceremony recognized the work of recently retired faculty and administrative staff, the students awarded some of their teachers, and the work of two members of the ETSINF team, in particular, was highlighted:
- PTGAS Excellence Award (Technical personnel for management and administration of services):Maite Blasco
- Award for teaching excellence:Elena Vázquez
The student body to faculty awards went to:
- In Data Science Degree:Víctor Manuel Ortiz Sotomayor
- In the Computer Engineering Degree:Josep Francesc Silva Galiana
- In the Degree in Industrial Informatics and Robotics:Ángeles Calduch
As for the retirees who were also honored were: Antonio Robles, Elvira Baydal, Carmen Capilla and José Antonio Verdoy.
