Joan Navarro Bellido, a student of the Computer Engineering Degree at the School of Computer Engineering (ETSINF) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), has been appointed EU Careers Ambassador by the University, pledging to strengthen the link between students and career opportunities in the European Union.
In his speech, Navarro Bellido stressed the importance of this appointment not only for his professional development but also for the benefit of the entire student community. As ambassador, his main objective is to act as a bridge between UPV students and the various opportunities provided by the institutions and agencies of the European Union.
Navarro Bellido proposed an ambitious program of activities, including informative talks, skills development workshops, networking events and individual counseling sessions, all designed to prepare students for EU selection processes and orient them to available career paths. Through these initiatives, it seeks to broaden students’ perspective on their future career options and prepare them to take advantage of opportunities in the European Union.
In his commitment to encouraging student participation and taking advantage of these opportunities, Navarro Bellido has asked to meet with UPV officials to discuss collaboration and adapting these activities to the academic calendar. His dedication and effort to connect students with future careers in the EU has been well received by the university community.
