REGULATIONS

The student dedication regime is regulated by the Progression and Permanence Regulations approved by the Governing Council on February 27, 2020 and by the Social Council on March 3, 2020, in its TITLE II.

PROCEDURE

Students will apply for part-time enrollment from their intranet in the section Virtual Secretary’s Office/Applications/Application for part-time enrollment, attaching scanned documentation proving the reasons for their application.

Documentation to be provided:

  • – By occupational activity
    • o Certificate from the company specifying the dates of the duration of the employment contract and the working day schedule.
    • o Report of working life.
  • – High level sports practice
    • o Photocopy of the Resolution of the BOE and the DOCV (Official Gazette of the Valencian Community) where the appointment is recorded.
  • – Special educational needs, family responsibilities, student representation work, participation in Spontaneous Generation groups, economic issues, simultaneity with other studies or any other similar considerations that make it difficult to dedicate oneself exclusively to full-time study.
    • o Certificate issued by the competent authority attesting to such status or other supporting documentation

DEADLINES

DEGREE AND DOUBLE DEGREE deadlines

  •  NEW STUDENTS:
    • Applications: July 16 and 17, 2024
    • New students will be enrolled on a full-time basis. In case of a favorable resolution to their application, they will be able to register after the resolution until July 22, 2024.
    • Resolution: until 29, 2024
  • 2nd and POST-ENROLLMENT students:
    • Applications: July 1 to July 5, 2024
    • Resolution: until July 17, 2024

Deadlines for MASTERS (M.U. Computer Engineering – M.U. Cybersecurity and Cyberintelligence – M.U. in Digital Humanities)

  • NEW ENTRANCE STUDENTS: (On the pre-registration dates)
    • Ordinary term (Phase 1):
      • Applications: from March 1 to May 3, 2024
      • Resolution: until June 5, 2024
    • Extraordinary deadline (Phase 2):
      • Applications: from June 17 to June 28, 2024
      • Resolution:  until July 22, 2024
    • Extraordinary deadline (Phase 3):
      • Applications: July 29 to August 2, 2024 and August 26 to September 6, 2024
      • Resolution: until September 13, 2024
  • Students SECOND ENROLLMENT and POST ENROLLMENT:
    • Applications: from June 24 to June 28, 2024
    • Resolution: until July 24, 2024

GROUP CHANGE

GROUP CHANGE

Students who wish to do so may request a change of group in one or more subjects within the deadlines established for this purpose.
In your request you must state the reasons for your request and, where possible, you must attach supporting documentation.
You have an explanatory document to make the request, being able to request several options using the blocks.
It is not necessary to provide originals of the documentation submitted, unless expressly requested by the study center.

When and how are they resolved?

The deadlines established for the 2024-2025 academic year for undergraduate and double degrees are:

  • For subjects of the A semester and yearly of Grades and Dual Degree ADE+INF:
    • For all courses: July 22 to September 2, 2024.
    • Second installment: September 5 to 6, 2024
  • For subjects of the B semester of Degrees and Double Degree GIOI+GCDatos:
    • For all courses: January 20 to 29, 2025
    • Second installment: February 1 to 3, 2025

At the end of the term, the Head of Studies reviews the applications and the Academic Committee of the Degree (CAT) resolves before the second term. The application will be resolved following the order of enrollment and duly justified causes, provided that there are places available.

DEADLINE FOR REQUESTING A CHANGE OF SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGY MODULE (BRANCH)

DEGREE IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Call addressed to students enrolled in 3rd year and who meet one of the following conditions:

  • Be enrolled in one of the specific technology modules and wish to change to another.
  • Not being enrolled in a specific technology module and wishing to enroll in one of them, provided that the enrollment does not exceed 60 ECTS.
  • Be enrolled in one of the specific technology modules and wish to extend subjects of that module, provided that the enrollment does not exceed 60 ECTS.

In the application you must indicate the following:

  • Branch
  • Subjects you would like to be enrolled in

The applications received will be resolved after the deadline, always in order of enrollment.
An email will be sent with the resolution.

PERMANENCE

EXEMPTION OF PERMANENCE

  • Application deadline: July 16 to 17, 2024.
  • Form of presentation: Intranet / Virtual Secretary’s Office / Applications / Request for exemption and/or consultation of the resolution of the rules of permanence.
  • In the event that the student does not make this request within the established period or if, once the request is made, it is rejected on July 18, 2024, the student will be automatically withdrawn for one academic year from the studies in which he/she is enrolled.

PROGRESS

PROGRESS WAIVER

  • Deadline for submission of applications:
    • First semester:
      • Former students:from July 1 to July 10, 2024
      • New students:July 23 and 24, 2024
    • Second semester:
      • GRADE: fromFebruary 10 to 15, 2025.
      • MASTER: fromFebruary 3 to 7, 2025.
  • Form of presentation of applications: Intranet / Virtual Secretariat / Request for exemption from progress conditions.

WAIVER OF ATTENDANCE

WAIVER OF ATTENDANCE

It is done electronically from the student’s intranet in the section Virtual Secretary’s Office/Applications/Application for Exemption from Class Attendance and the supporting documents of the alleged causes are uploaded in pdf format.

Documentation to be provided:

  • Labor activity:The work life report and employment contract, including working hours and contract period, shall be uploaded to the application.
  • Family situation:Supporting documentation (family book, etc.) will be uploaded.
  • Sports activity:The BOE or DOGV where the student is included in the case of elite athletes will be uploaded.
  • Disease:supporting medical certificates will be uploaded.
  • Otros:Difficulty or impossibility to attend, supervening cause, etc.

In no case will waivers be approved retroactively. The waiver applies as of the time the request is submitted. For periods of less than 14 school days, no waiver will be requested.
