The Advisory Council of the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Informàtica, launched in 2010, is an initiative that aims to have a body to advise the School on issues of strategy and future that have to do with the visibility of the center, improving the quality and innovation in training, or the relationship with the professional and social world. To this end, the Advisory Board is made up of professionals of recognized prestige in the field of information technologies, some of them former students of the School, as well as leading professors.

Functions

The mission of the Advisory Council of the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Informàtica de la UPV is la de asistir y asesorar a la Dirección y a la Junta de Centro en los siguientes objetivos y acciones:

• Promotion – Providing a channel of communication with companies and institutions that serves to promote the fulfillment of the center’s social responsibility to society, fostering relationships of mutual benefit.
• Strategic vision – Promoting and assisting the ETSINF in the development of strategic objectives and the design of new degrees, as well as in the generation of best practices for the visibility of the center at national and international level.
• Attendance – Providing a forum for consultation and review of curricula, programs and center strategies.
