Iniciación a la Investigación Educativa (INED) is a training program of125 hours duration (5 ECTS), which aims to help thefaculty with a background in higher education in their progress towards a more professional and academic teaching, based on experimentation and a systematic process to analyze their own teaching and its effects on student learning. This analysis has to be evidence-based and its results have to be communicated, known and open to critical review by the academic community.
For this purpose, the program is structured in different phases, from the initiation of the educational research process to the design, application and analysis of data to finally write an article that can be published in a journal.
Program objectives
- Design an educational research in the context of a subject.
- Write an educational research protocol.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis methodologies in the proposed research.
- Prepare a scientific article with the development of the educational research carried out during the course.
