Quality of teaching at the academic programme level

Verification
We collaborate in the verification of new bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The Royal Decree 822/2021 establishes the guidelines, conditions and procedures for the quality assurance of the curricula, the successful completion of which leads to the awarding of official university degrees valid throughout the national territory.
These procedures take the form of the verification of the curriculum as a requirement for the initial accreditation of the degree and its inscription in the Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees (RUCT).
SECA collaborates with the Degree Management Area (AGEST) and the Structures Responsible for the
Degrees (ERTs) in:
- The management of the VERIFICA-UPV computer application, an application that defines the
verification report of UPV degrees. - Provide additional information required to be included in the report.
- The technical review of the verification report, prior to its submission to the Board of Directors, will be carried out by Universities for their assessment.
- Technical support throughout the degree verification process.

Follow-up
We collaborate
in the monitoring of bachelor’s and master’s degrees and doctorate.
Internal monitoring. On an annual basis, the SIQ_UPV provides the ERTs with the following quantitative and qualitative information necessary for the preparation of the annual management report of the degree, where we reflect, analyze and propose improvement actions based on this information.
External monitoring regulated by the Royal Decree 822/2021indicates that they will be monitored by the agencies evaluating compliance with the accredited academic project. The result of this process provides recommendations for improvement.

This results in the renewal of the accreditation of the official degrees offered.
From SECA we collaborate in:

- Coordination of the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the University’s Internal Quality System (SIQ_UPV).
- Maintenance of the document system.
- Technical support to the Quality Commission of the UPV.
