The UPV adds 2 new EUR-ACE seals

11 seals have been renewed, bringing to 30 the number of UPV degrees that have this quality seal.

UPV is a university committed to quality education, a challenge for which all members of the institution are involved. Along these lines, the UPV has opted for the certification of a large number of its bachelor’s and master’s degrees through international quality seals, specific for each of the different professional fields taught at its three campuses.

These weeks have received 13 favorable reports of university programs with the EUR-ACE seal, 11 of which have been renewed and 2 accredited for the first time (Master’s Degree in Advanced Production, Logistics and Supply Chain Engineering and Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering). The seal EUR-ACE accredits that the studies broadly meet the professional requirements in the field of engineering. This seal is awarded by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), and both the Spanish Engineering Institute (IIE) and the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) participate in the certification process through its International Quality Seals (SIC) program.

The seal has the following advantages:

  • It is internationally recognized and facilitates academic and professional mobility.
  • For engineering students and graduates, it ensures that the EUR-ACE-certified program meets high European and international standards and is recognized by employers in Europe.
  • For employers, it ensures that candidates’ knowledge, understanding and practical skills meet international standards of engineering education.
