The Vice-rectorate for the Organization of Studies, Quality, Accreditation and Languages, launches the first MINOR_UPV around the Sustainability and Circular Economy. The pilot program will be launched next academic year 2024-2025 at the Alcoy campus.
The MINORS_UPV programs are an innovative academic initiative, designed to allow students to broaden their training beyond traditional curricula, offering an interdisciplinary itinerary that includes UPV subjects and non-regulated activities, such as courses and seminars. This specialization offer allows students to advance at their own pace, granting, in some cases, micro-credentials that will certify training achievements in areas complementary to their official training, as well as a certificate from the UPV upon completion of the program.
This innovative training offer represents a significant step in the promotion of sustainability and the circular economy, providing students and professionals with specific short-term training.
It is aimed at UPV students, graduates and external professionals. The MINOR in Sustainability and Circular Economy includes subjects of different degrees taught at the Campus of Alcoy, eligible within a wide offer up to a total of 30 credits, which can be completed over one or more courses, thus allowing compatibility with Bachelor or Master studies or other activities.
The Vice-Rector’s Office will offer 30 scholarships, one of which is endowed with a maximum of 220€ corresponding to the tuition fees of a maximum of two official UPV subjects (maximum 12 ECTS in total) that are part of the MINOR_UPV academic program.
