What are the Grants to Centers and Units of Excellence?

The objective of the Grants for Centers and Units of Excellence is to promote the institutional strengthening of the centers and units of excellence existing in our country through, on the one hand, the accreditation of research centers such as Severo Ochoa Centers of Excellence and research units such as Units of Excellence María de Maeztu and the financing of their strategic plans or programs and, on the other hand, the financing, without accreditation, of centers and units that carry out some of the high impact actions included in their strategic plans or programs.
