VICE-RECTORATE FOR RESEARCH

The Vice-Rectorate for Research is responsible for the coordination and management of basic and strategic research at the UPV, the Doctoral School, the Library and Scientific Documentation Service, the Human Resources Strategy for Research (HRS4R), as well as the research support structures.

Among other functions, it is entrusted with the coordination, programming and spreading of the research activity, the maintenance of the register of structures and personnel of the university research institutes, centres and research groups, as well as advice and support in the management of R+D+I projects.

The Official Register of Structures and Personnel (ROEP) is an administrative system that manages and organises official information on the organisational structures and personnel linked to a public or private entity.

The Sexennials are a recognition granted in the academic and research field, which evaluates and rewards the research activity of a professional during a period of six consecutive years.

The Doctoral Research Staff Access Contracts is an initiative aimed at facilitating the incorporation of doctoral researchers into the research and development system, promoting the stabilisation and development of scientific careers.

The R+D+I Support Programmes are initiatives aimed at promoting research, development and technological innovation in various sectors.
